Adventure Camp 2009

Sorry for being MIA for so long, i was at camp, having the time of my life on high stuff,...haha i miss camp and my group so much ....boo, i wish we could do those stuff together again...anyway,

DAY 1

I was kinda not looking forward to the camp, cause everyone was like, not really enthu...they gave us alot of like talks, ice breaking and stuff, it was really nice there on the camp, can see the sea from my "hut",and we learnt how to belay...which came in super useful the next day....my group consist of : Chia Min, Cass, me, Linrui,fish, linwei, Crystal, Simone, XiaoTing, Joey,yixiang, kaiwen, Desmond, Justin, Xueyan, Lipan, Wanshi, Lamyu,and am sorry if i missed anyone out, but i dont think i did..so we decided that our group's name would be KitKAT, since our instructor's name was KAT....so yeah


Then there was the night activity...WHICH WAS FREAKING FUNNY, it was the same as the chinese dance camp de, where we had to blindfold and hold the person infront of you....so i was holding Cassandra, she was holding linrui and some other people was infront of linrui( i think is CM), then starting from me all the way back was all the boys...so holding me was Kaiwen( =.="), then behind him was either Fish or Linwei, cause they were making a whole lot noise...like WTH, example...

"I cannot see!!!!"

"WTH!!!"

" Eh, kaiwen! 你的前面哪个是女的arh?"

"en-na!"

"wah, 敢敢上larh!"

"eh, kaiwen, 不要趁机horh!!"

"wahhh, 我的blindfold 掉liao!"

"Cass, what's happening infront?!?"

"Linrui, what's happening?"

"i dunnoe"

"i dunnoe"

"Jingyi, stop pulling me!!!!"

"Kaiwen, stop pulling me!!"

then i dunnoe what happen behind, but kaiwen was like " walao! 你不要模我模到这样leh!!!"

Me and cass was like laughing our ass off, we were like " who touched him?!?!?!" LMAO...Then got this part we had to squat down,

"wahh, wah eh kah cheng!!!"

"my leg breaking!!"

"there's actually nothing above us.."

now that was fun,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

DAY 2

For today, our first activity was the ZIPLINE, also known as flying fox....I WAS ON CLOUD NINE....yipppeeee, got to zoom down from donnnoe how high,,,,quite high actually.....haha!! then relied on the trolley party to pull me to safety....it was so freaking fun!!! After that was Kayaking....i went with my dearest buddy of the camp, Linrui, and we were like " ok, left right left right,,nONONOO!!! right right right ...."..then we had to all like join hands together with people on the other kayak, and we had to stand up, so let's work together!!! I held on to Desmond and some other Leslie guy from ODAC, yay, i'm safe, holding on to both ODAC people...lols...after the kayak came the shoe problemooo......We had to wear our ONLY shoes into the sea, and mine has a hole, so all the sand went into my feet...lols, cass's shoes were disgusting too.....but no choice, we had to wear the shoe to other activities, soggy and stuff...lols,

After that was Abseiling...Mr Singh, Mr Rodriguez, and Miss Kuck was in charge,,,,so they tied ropes all around inside the "tower", and i'm suppose to abseil down..O gosh, i was freaking scared....so each teacher would take one student and belay them....YAY, i got Miss Kuck...then when we were tying the ropes and getting ready, Mr Singh was telling Miss Kuck " We should just put a tape recorder here, you know, " slowly, steady, go down, yes, good job, slowly,,"" I was like, lols, but i couldn't say anything, i was scared out of my wits...it was like quite high up, like four stories....so booo....then i started to abseil...

i dunnoe why, i guess i was too scared, i did it like really fast.....and then Fish and Kaiwen was the spotters below, to help support the people coming down...then they were like " eh, why she so fast arh???!?!? walao, she damn fast ehh!" then kaiwen was lehh " yarh larh, 快过我leh!"...SO WTF......

Then we played Kidnapped....the same as the chinese dance camp ( i'm starting to think they took some ideas from the adventure camp)...so you guys know what it's about, but this time we had to do different stations to find our group flag, which was flagnapped...( by our very own KAT somemore....)

-throw peanuts in our mouths to catch it and eat( but we didn't do, linwei and fish did, they were suppose to be good at such things)

-blow up a balloon, and pop it between two butts...( those two jokers did it again)

-one person in the group had to eat a sour sweet and say everyone's names ( our heroine LINRUI)

-we had to do some silly animal sign thingy

-pass around from the first person of the group to the last a water bag without using our hands( we used our shirts...lols)

-divide ourself into male and female, then stand in a circle , squat and sit on each other's tighs and walk

-volley a ball around for twenty times without dropping, among everyone in our group,

-drink water from the same bottle, and do our cheer with the water in our mouths( i didn't know the second part, so i already swallowed the water..shhhh...)

-hold our hands, and pass around a holler-hoop...

-do our cheer like really loudly...yay~~~

then in the end we got our flag...

DAY 3

a long day, also the best day....it was really really fucking fun...yay...first station, low elements, where we had to past the spiderweb thingy, and the low wall thingy,,,we worked so well togther and yay, we got it!! then was the rockclimbing, which i suck in, what happen? i keh kiang larh! at first climb so fast then half way through no strength,,,lols....my arm was aching like hell,and i fell from the rock like a hundred times,,, and then CM, FISH( my belayer, or was it Linrui ??), KAT, And some other people were telling me which rock i should put which limbs on...then i fiiiiiinnnnnally managed to push myself to the "big big yellow one" as CM puts it....and the rest was smooth sailing.....

After that was high elements, Ohgod, at first when i see those people do that plank thingy like damn scary,,, but thank god i did the rope one, which was not as scary, but i had to sing a birthday song for cass( her birthday that day)on top, yes, high up, there hanging on my life...AND I HAD TO SING A BIRTHDAY SONG...yay me!, so off i went into a string of broken notes, then everyone below was like " eh, zao sia lar!!"..so damn fun, overcame my fear too....

I learnt to trust people in my group too, how they would be the ones you can fall back on, like your belayers, they are the ones who actually support you, and you shouldn't be afraid, because you know you can always have someone to fall back on, to save you from falling down from like dunnoe how high.....

After this was the campfire..the official one..OMG, this, i was scared, truely, more than all the high stuff, cause my group was doing like a skit of a competition, and i was the host of the cometition, so walau, so malu, i had to inprovise on the spot some funny stuff to say....wth...but we got through, thanks to the whole group, chiamin's voice, linwei's breakdance, crystal's bitchyness, linrui and joey's lovey dovey, and of course, Fish being Brifish spears and their sexy dance...yay, and the rest of the campfire was songs, cheers, and screams....

Day 4

WE HAD TO CLEAN THE STAFF TOILET.....but i realise the instructors and teachers have been using heaters while we shiver in the cold, boohoo,, and i also realise they drop alot of hair, must have been stressed..hahas!then we just clean clean here, 洗刷刷洗刷刷, then done, we had to sweep the corridor there too, so we just hang out at the instructor's place there, and fooled around with some Sebest cat, and we were like " eh, Fish, later he eat you!" then he go follow the cat when it walk, on four legs, then i was like " Got one gorilla following Sebest", and cass and i laughed like hell.....

later was the last de briefing and alot of talking.....then we set off from Jalan Bahtera to Xinmin!!! In the end KitKat did that throwing somebody in the air thing, and we threw KAt!! Meow meow.... so we were like " 1,2,3 huat ah!!!" then we threw her several times..hehe!! Then we went home!!!

I MISSED CAMP AND KITKAT SO MUCH
